Real Estate Love Languages
Like everything in life it’s all about relationships and speaking one’s language for the month of February since were in the month of love we’re going to talk about different areas of real estate where you can really understand each person’s perspective.
Buyers, Buyers, Buyers!
Buyers love language is extremely complex. I think that with buyers it takes a long time for them to even understand what they’re looking for. Especially first-time homebuyers. They have an image in their mind and sometimes it’s hard to part from them, I blame HGTV for the unrealistic Portrayal of the process.
Here are my tips for buyers to understand what their languages:
1. Knowing the non-negotiables. You have to set his stone the things that you cannot waiver on. This one can be tricky.
2. Understanding your budget, it is extremely important to know what your budget is. I highly recommend sitting with a professional, loan officer or financial advisor to help discover this process.
3. I have a conversation with all my Buyer clients. There are three areas that you always need to look at location, renovations, or price. If you are having trouble finding your desired home this are the 3 area you need to look into.
4. The most common mistake that I see with buyers is, they are not prepared to submit an offer. This means having the earnest money having an inspector knowing the process and reading my homebuyers guide!
Seller, Seller, Sellers!
I hope that you reviewed all the things that the buyers have to consider just above this section. I hope this helps you with the things that you need to do when you’re trying to successfully sell your home.
1. Knowing your market, you want to know what your home current selling value. Please always keep in mind what you feel your home is worth and what someone’s willing to pay for our two totally different things Get you property's value NOW!
2. Being realistic with the data is the biggest area of opportunity for sellers in my experience. A lot of times sellers think that if they pave their house in GOLD, it makes it worth so much more. This couldn’t be further from the truth again utilize the data.
3. Sellers your first impression is your best impression. Present your property at its best condition that means cleaning, decluttering & etc.
4. Once you are on the market, you have to be prepared to review offers. Letting the market tell you what’s happening with your property. This doesn’t mean take the first offer that jumps at you, but it means that there should be some consideration as time presses on, and just keep connected with your agent on how to pivot if you shall find some struggles.
