Recently, I had the pleasure of representing the buyer in the purchase of 4158 W. Nelson in the amazing Chicago Neighborhood of Avondale. The process was intense as the 2 flat building had much attention and showings. I had to get creative for my client in the negotiation process up against over 11 other offers. The task was completed successfully and this client was able to purchase an income generating property using his V.A. loan.
This client and I had been searching for some time and the demand outweighed the supply. In addition to, the process of selling multi units with tenants can present many hurdles for the buyers and sellers. My method rather I'm listing for the seller or searching for the buyers it to respect and accommodate tenants personal space and time. Overall the approach created the result of an closed deal under 30 days for all parties involved.

I don’t know how else to say this but- I LOVE JERIAH TOLBERT! I met Jeriah at an open house (she was the sellers agent) that I tagged along for with a friend. We immediately hit it off. I told her that I stopped looking for houses because the house that I fell in love with and in negotiations with was sold because my realtor took too long to contact the other party. She told me not to give up and that there plenty of other beautiful homes to purchase. Well, Jeriah was right. During that initial meeting she shows me a beautiful three-flat and I asks me if I want to go see it as soon as she’s done with her open house. I accept. That was the beginning of the entertaining journey of finding me a second home. Jeriah’s work ethic is unmatched by anyone that I’ve met. She was like a mother goose making sure her baby goose(me) was safe and doing the right things. Jeriah would call, email, and hound(professionally) people when they were too slow to reply.
